2020 has been an interesting and unexpected year so far. As the first quarter comes to a close, it is incredible to think how much life has changed in the past 90 days.
In our communities, life enrichment looks a bit different due to physical distancing. Our community teams have customized resident programming in alignment with our COVID-19 prevention measures. As always, keeping our residents healthy and happy is our number one priority.
With everything going on in the world, we also want to make others happy and spread joy. This week we are celebrating our residents and team members at Ponte Vedra Gardens, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
In their music video below, the Ponte Vedra team shares some recent activities and flashbacks pre-social distancing. Highlighting their Valentines Day and St. Patrick’s celebrations, the video also shows Ponte Vedra residents enjoying a Golf-related art activity.
Jennifer McCormick, Program Director of Ponte Vedra Gardens shares, ” Golfing is big in our area. We are located practically across the street from the Tournament Players Championship. Much of our décor is golf and beach-inspired. In the video, you see pictures of a few parties, but also Meaningful Moments created with our residents during art, gardening, and activities planned around the Tournament Players Championship here in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Please enjoy their encouraging video below:
The Ponte Vedra team created this video to share with resident family members to provide peace-of-mind and keep loved ones updated. With visitation restrictions in place by the CMS, only essential healthcare personnel are allowed access to the community. Commenting on this, Jennifer shares, “It is encouraging to see how residents and families are responding to this situation. Another encouragement is that while we have always enjoyed Meaningful Moments with our residents, we are now building even deeper connections through our one-to-one programming”.
Do you know someone who could use a bit of encouragement today? Share this video with them and spread some joy!
