Happy Holidays from Our Family to Yours

We are thankful for our incredible team members and their dedication to our residents, their families and communities. Without their servant leadership and caring hearts, we would not be able to provide the highest quality care that our residents and their families have come to expect.
With all of the opportunities to bring joy to others this holiday season, we want to share some stories of how our community teams have made this holiday a special one for our residents, families and communities.

At Robinwood Landing in Lansing, Michigan, residents enjoyed an amazing holiday excursion to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland followed by a fabulous meal at Zehnder’s Famous Chicken Dinners in Frankenmuth.

Taking in the holiday sights and sounds at Bronner’s, residents and staff sang Christmas Carols, visited with Santa, and browsed at the gift shop for holiday presents.
All of this fun works up quite an appetite, so the next stop on their holiday tour was World Famous: Zehnder’s Chicken Dinners. There the Robinwood Family enjoyed comfort foods and holiday favorites like, golden fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered egg noodles and soft serve ice cream for dessert.

*Fun Fact: Zehnder’s has almost one million guests each year from every state in the nation and even many foreign countries!

At Sugar Creek in Normal, Illinois, team members visited local businesses and care partners to spread holiday cheer. With Starbucks Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Candy Canes in hand, Sugar Creek Managers made their rounds as Santa’s Elves sharing the holiday spirit.

The first stops were Synergy Homecare and Always Caring Home Care to say, “Thank You” for partnering with Sugar Creek in caring for seniors in our community. Next the team provided a, “Cup of Cheer” to the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter. Wrapping up their visits, Sugar Creek stopped by Hospice Compassus and Bloomington Rehab and Health Center to wish them, “Happy Holidays!”.

At Summer Wood in Moses Lake, Washington, residents wanted to send love and best wishes to our deployed service men and women this holiday season. Writing several Christmas cards, they shared holiday greetings and said, “Thank you and God bless you for all that you do for our country”.

Thank you to all of our team members, residents and families for all that you do to help Honor the Experience of Aging. From our family to yours, we wish you a Happy Holiday Season filled with peace, love and joy – and a Happy New Year!
