I Wear My Mask – Caring Together to Honor Aging

At Sinceri Senior Living, we truly appreciate and are thankful for each of our Team Members every day. But this year, National Assisted Living Week is even more impactful. We could not be prouder of our dedicated Team Members, serving as Healthcare Heroes day-in and day-out, even in the midst of a global pandemic. And this service extends not only to our Team Members, but also their families and loved ones who help support, encourage, and empower them to continue Caring Together and Honoring Aging each day.

2020 has been a year full of opportunities and challenges. With enhanced infection prevention measures, and ever-changing regulations and visitation restrictions, our Team Members have done a phenomenal job, rolling with the punches and staying positive throughout it all. They have even stepped up in large ways to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Through our Healthcare Heroes campaign, Team Members committed to practicing our infection prevention measures both inside and outside our communities, and it hasn’t stopped there.

When out in public, many of our Team Members realized that those around them were not adhering to CDC guidelines for social distancing and mask use. In order to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the continued diligent use of personal protective equipment, and masks are of vital importance. It was from this realization and our unique healthcare perspective that the campaign, #iwearmymask was born. JEA Team Members are now taking their commitment to care even further by participating in this social media campaign. #iwearmymask encourages and supports continued diligent use of masks and Personal Protective Equipment to help prevent and stop the spread of COVID-19. As Team Members continue to focus on adherence to the Heroes Pledge, they also want to remind their peers, families, social media connections, and greater communities to continue wearing masks and other PPE to stop the spread of COVID-19.

#iwearmymask has 3 parts and getting involved is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step 1: Take a selfie wearing your face mask and use this to update your Facebook photo
Step 2: Apply the Facebook profile photo frame (#iwearmymask)
Step 3: Post on Facebook, tag us at Sinceri Senior Living, and use the hashtag #iwearmymask to let others know why you use PPE

For those with senior loved ones living independently or at home with services, ensure that you are wearing a mask if and when you come to visit. Maintain social distancing at all times and be sure to wash your hands frequently, especially after touching high-contact items in public.
