Meaningful Moments® Sets the Standard in Memory Care

People living with memory loss face greater challenges than most of us. Being unable to remember life’s most cherished moments is a difficult path, but not a hopeless one. Sinceri Senior Living recognizes that these individuals haven’t lost the capacity to experience joy and are able to continue leading meaningful lives.

That’s the basis for our Meaningful Moments program. This unique approach to caring for those with dementia goes beyond merely making these individuals safe and comfortable. It’s a family-centered concept that starts by learning everything there is to know about our residents – their passions, achievements, careers, family, hobbies and interests. This allows our staff to create moments of real meaning that engage our residents emotionally, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.

It also helps bond caregivers to the resident, so they are able to see more than their current condition and recognize them for the singular and exceptional person they are. By creating this profound connection, Meaningful Moments establishes a strong foundation of trust and well-being from which residents are able to create new memories and thrive in an environment of exceptional care.

Meet the Executive Director

Lauren Sword | Executive Director

Lauren is deeply passionate about her career and believes that Celebrating Life with all the residents, families and employees is incredibly important. Lauren currently lives in Lexington, KY and enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Matthew and their three fur babies – Leapra, Larry, and Junior.

She adores traveling and exploring new places and loves to hear about others’ favorite destinations and experiences. When Lauren and Matthew aren’t traveling, you’ll find them being “foodies” and looking for new restaurants and cuisines to try – she especially loves sushi. In addition to traveling and trying new food, you can also find Lauren by the pool in the summer, playing volleyball, enjoying music by Miranda Lambert, cheering on the Wildcats, sipping sweet tea, enjoying Peonies and using retail therapy as a stress relief. Her favorite quote is by Franklin D. Roosevelt, “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.” Lauren is thrilled to be a part of the Magnolia Springs Lexington community and looks forward to providing an excellent home for the residents and workplace for the employees daily.
