``My parents, Larry and Condia Price, have been residents at Muncie Estates for several years. My family unfortunately lost our mother to Lewy Bodies Dementia a little over 3 years ago. Our father, Larry, continued to stay at the facility after my mother's death. On Thursday, April 4th, 2024, my dad, too, passed away. I would be remiss if I didn't send this letter to let you know how very much your facility and staff have meant to our family. They have helped us through countless rough patches over the years. Never once have we felt uncomfortable with the care and support that we have received. The nursing staff, the aides, the cafeteria help, the maintenance ... they have all been so incredible. We have built life-long friendships through your facility. At the end of my father's life, hospice became involved. What an incredible experience that was. I don't know what we would have done without ANY of these incredible people. It's such a blessing to have had the peace of mind that your facility and staff provided. In the last two days of my father's life, there were staff members who made special trips into my dad's room when they weren't even scheduled for work. They just wanted to come in during their ``off-hours`` to say their goodbyes, embrace my dad, and tell him how much they loved him. It makes me cry just thinking about the outpour of compassion and support that we all received. I could fill page after page with wonderful stories and examples of how incredible this facility has been, but I'll just say...THANK YOU!!!!!``
