Emergency Preparedness
The safety and well-being of our residents is our highest priority. Sinceri Senior Living communities maintain comprehensive emergency preparedness plans designed to help protect residents before, during, and after severe weather events, including hurricanes.
Our teams work closely with local and state emergency management agencies and follow all applicable emergency preparedness requirements, evacuation directives, and public safety guidance. While preparedness plans vary based on each community’s location and applicable regulations, every community is committed to maintaining a safe environment and responding quickly when severe weather is forecast.
Depending on the community and local requirements, preparedness measures may include:
- Coordination with local emergency management agencies.
- Community-specific emergency response and evacuation plans.
- Backup emergency power capabilities where applicable.
- Emergency food, water, and essential supplies.
- Dedicated team members who remain on-site to support residents throughout severe weather events.
- Ongoing coordination with pharmacy, therapy, home health, and other essential service providers when available.
Keeping Families Informed
When a hurricane or other significant weather event has the potential to impact one of our communities, Executive Directors will communicate directly with residents and their designated family members or responsible parties regarding important updates, including any operational changes or evacuation plans, as appropriate and in accordance with local and state requirements.
